Market Research Associate



Job Overview:

This is an on-call position, with hours varying based on project demands. The Market Research Associate conducts a variety of consumer and business surveys within Kentucky and all over the United States.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is:
  • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a marketing or social sciences degree program. (Programs with specific emphasis on the research process, i.e., marketing research, psychology, sociology, etc. are preferred.)
  • Planning or pursuing a career in the marketing research field
  • Seeking to learn all aspects of marketing research as a means for entering and/or furthering their career in the marketing research field
Responsibilities:
  • Interviewing consumers and business people for opinion surveys about a variety of subjects and issues. (Primarily telephone interviewing, but may include in-person interviewing as well.)
  • Recruiting respondents to participate in paid focus group discussions and other in-person market research tests
  • Conducting on-site mystery shops at various businesses to evaluate customer service delivery
  • Assist in other areas as needed

Days & Hours:

Flexible (Will depend on project requirements. Employees may be able to choose preferred days to work.) Typical shifts during the week are 5:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
